Where I Am — You Were Meant to Be
"Where I Am," is a response to a question. Maybe you have asked questions too? Questions keep us searching until we are satisfied with an answer. Once our curiosity has been satisfied we rarely reconsider. I was surprised by God's response. I am still learning and in awe of the living God, who hears and answers. I hope He surprises you too. I hope “Where I Am” provokes questions you thought had been resolved. I hope you look to Him for answers.
Derek is the Hebrew word for path, journey, or way. In Jeremiah 6:16 "derek" is the word for crossroads. It is the place we stand when we are presented with two options. We have a choice to make. God's way is the ancient path, the narrow path, that has been traveled by many before us. When we ask for His way, the good way, and walk in it, we find rest for our souls.
JEREMIAH 6:16
“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls..."
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls..."
