Helping people discover how to relate to God through His Word, finding the depth of meaning and how to apply it to our everyday lives is my passion. There is nothing more satisfying that watching the "light bulb" turn on as someone grasps the life changing truth that only the Spirit of the Living God can reveal. It's even more satisfying when those same people want to share with others what they have understood. Everything I teach is anchored in my relationship with Jesus and the benefits of knowing Him intimately.

I am an ordinary person following an Extra Ordinary God. Simply put, I am a communicator. My passion is teaching, training and developing programs and products to bring understanding about who God is, what He is doing and what is important to Him. I believe that understanding fosters trust in our relationship with God and strengthens our ability to boldly walk in faith. I attempt to bring spiritual concepts into our physical understanding to awaken a desire to pursue the depths of God.
My background is in graphic design and journalism and I have been operating a business since in 1997. My ministry history began at First Covenant Church (now Twin Cities) in Rancho Cordova and has grown from there. I spent more than 10 years creating programs, content, curriculum, and teaching pastors and church leaders in the developing world how to study the Bible with Ancient Promise International, an international non-denominational discipleship training ministry. |
Derek Publishing
Derek Publishing was founded in 2013 as an avenue to provide the curricula she and Robbie Harrington created for international training programs through Ancient Promise International available to a broader audience. They are available on Amazon or for quantity orders use the contact link. The training programs and curricula have been utilized in East Africa, the Horn of Africa, West Africa, Mexico, India and right here in the US with foreign nationals.
Tanzania Assemblies of God has adopted the entire "A Life Devoted" series, the Discovering God™ Training Workbook and Being Renewed as part of their curricula in 70+ church planting schools and six Bible colleges. Students will have the option of English or Swahili workbooks. Vertical Divider

Road Map Ministries
My time internationally changed me and I saw that the simplicity of the gospel and the building blocks of faith were needed back home. I needed them, and needed to be reminded of them often. Road Map Ministries, Inc. is an avenue to bring the life changing word of God closer to home, which is currently Auburn, California. I am a member at Auburn Grace Community Church and currently work at Jessup University as a graphic designer. I also teach whenever I can.
